Organics Studio Nitrogen
This is my first review about an ink that I don’t own a full bottle of. But this is because I couldn’t find a shop to buy this ink. I’m talking about Organics Studio Nitrogen – and now get ready for a lot of great pictures!
Das ist mein erstes Review von einer Tinte, die ich nicht in einem eigenen ganzen Fläschchen habe. Das liegt aber vor allem daran, dass ich keinen (deutschen) Shop finden konnte, der eine ganze Flasche verkauft. Ich spreche von Organics Studio Nitrogen – und jetzt macht euch auf einige tolle Bilder gefasst!
The ink is a dark blue, leaning a bit more towards the turquoise blue palette. It has a lot of red sheen which amazed me. Writing with this ink was a joy, it’s very fluent and takes some time to dry. You can also see a lot of shading.
Die Tinte ist dunkelblau, mit einem deutslichen Einschlag in richtung türkis. Sie hat eine Menge roten Sheen, was mich wirklich begeistert hat. Das Schreibgefühl war super, flüssig und ohne Probleme, auch genug Shading war vorhanden, um mich glücklich zu machen.
But enough of that, I also had some problems with this ink. First of all, this ink has so much sheen that it never dries completly (see “Moderne” in the header, after a week). You can always get dirty fingers if you’re going through the pages of a notebook. Especially if you’re using Tomoe River Paper like I am doing.
Genug des Lobes, kommen wir zu den negativen Punkten. Leider braucht die Tinte ewig zum trocknen, und trocknet sogar nie ganz (siehe “Moderne” in der Überschrift. Da hab ich nach einer Woche gewischt). Das liegt an der riesigen Menge sheen, sodass man beim Blättern immer farbige Finger bekommt. Vor allem wenn man wie ich im Alltag für Notizen Tomoe River Papier nutzt…
Next: there was no sheen at all on Leuchtturm 120gsm. I don’t know what exactly happened to the ink on this paper … but it’s better on 80gsm paper (which I don’t have a picture of). But at least you can now see the beautiful blue color of the ink without getting distracted by the red sheen.
Und dann war da noch das Leuchtturm Papier… Auf der 120g Version des A5 Papieres erkennt man leider null komma gar nichts von dem Sheen. Auf dem 80g Papier in A5 ist es besser, aber da habe ich keine Schriftprobe verfügbar. Naja, so kann man immerhin die wunderschöne blaue Tinte erkennen, ohne vom roten Sheen abgelenkt zu werden.
Overall I really liked this ink. It’s something I would love to use for special letters, maybe one or two diary entries as well. But not for daily meeting notes, thats too much dirty findergs for me when I have to get back to them again.
Maybe I’ll find a full bottle of it somewhere. Until then I have to be careful with the last bits of the sample I got.
Im Großen und Ganzen mochte ich die Tinte sehr gerne! Ich würde sie für spezielle Briefe oder Karten nutzen, vielleicht auch noch für Tagebucheinträge. Für meine täglichen Notizen eigent sich die Tinte überhaupt nicht, ich muss zu oft durch meine Notizen blättern…
Vielleicht finde ich ja noch irgendwo eine Flasche, bis dahin nutze ich sorgsam meine Probe.
