Ferris Wheel Press Spadina Rose
Although I really like purple and petrol colors at the moment I want to show you something different meanwhile. A while ago I ordered a little set of Ferris Wheel Press inks: The Fashion District Set. From this set I’m showing you Spadina Rose.
Obwohl ich im Moment Violett- und Petrol-Töne gern mag wollte ich euch doch mal wieder etwas anderes und neues zeigen. Vor einer Weile habe ich mir ein kleines Set Tinten von Ferris Wheel Press bestellt: Das Fashion Destrict Set. Davon zeige ich euch heute Spadina Rose.
The color is a very bright rose color, a little bit desaturated I’d say. In german you’d call this probably old rose – altrosa. I think it fits really nice to my Visconti fountain pen! But as you can see already in the writing sample, the ink shades a lot and is a little bit too light to read it well. I also have to say that it’s a really dry ink which I didn’t like at all in my Visconti. I had a hard time using this ink in this fountain pen and I’d suggest you to use it in a fountain pen that’s a rather wet pen.
Die Farbe der Tinte ist ein heller Rosa-Ton der etwas ungesättigt wirkt. Am Besten finde ich passt die Umschreibung altrosa. Sie passt wirklich gut zu meinem Visconti Pen – zumindest was die Farbe angeht. Wie man aber im Schreibbeispiel schon sehen kann ist es eine Tinte, die sehr viel Shading produziert. Sie ist außerdem extrem trocken, was man ja auch an der Trocknungszeit erkennt. Im Visconti Venus war das keine gute Idee, der Füller schreibt generell etwas trocken und dann auch noch die trockene Tinte… Ich empfehle euch, lieber einen Füller zu benutzen, der nasser schreibt und viel Tinte aufs Papier bringt.
On Tomoe River Paper and on Leuchtturm the ink worked really well. The Tomoe River works a little bit better I have to say. The shading is absolutly gorgeous due to the light color of the ink. I really liked it and I have to use it in a different pen soon.
Sowohl auf Tomoe River als auch auf Leuchtturm Papier funktionierte die Tinte sehr gut. Da sie so trocken ist empfehle ich aber eher Tomoe River Papier zu benutzen. Das Shading ist wirklich super, aber das ist ja bei so einer hellen Tinte schon fast klar. Ich mag die Farbe sehr und kann es kaum erwarten, sie in einem anderen Füller zu benutzen!
I didn’t have any issues with the ink at all. There is no pigments, glibber or any weird stuff in the ink. It has no sheen or shimmer.
Ich hatte keine Probleme mit der Tinte. Weder Pigmente, noch Glibber oder andere seltsame Dinge waren in der Tinte. Sie hat keinen Sheen oder Shimmer.
